MB-45 Window and Door System
The MB-45 system is a modern solution from ALUPROF S.A., created with the requirements of architects, investors and collaborating companies in mind. It is an aluminium window and door system without a thermal break, perfect for creating architectural elements that do not require thermal insulation, such as partitions, windows, doors (including sliding and swing doors), vestibules, display cabinets, checkout boxes, showcases and spatial structures.
The MB-45 system offers modern, flexible and cost-effective solutions for a variety of architectural applications. With its wide customisation options and ease of installation, MB-45 is the ideal choice for designers and contractors who value quality, functionality and durability.
Technical properties:
• Aluminium profiles: The design depth is 45 mm (frame) and 54 mm (window leaf), achieving a single plane effect from the outside when closed.
• Hardware and accessories: The MB-45 system uses renowned hardware from ROTO, FAPIM, SIGENIA, SOBINCO, WALA, GEZE, which is proven and continuously upgraded.
• Profile bending: The ability to bend profiles makes it possible to produce a variety of arches and curved structures.
Benefits of the MB-45 system:
1. Versatile and flexible: The system accommodates a wide variety of architectural projects, tailored to individual customer needs.
2. Compatible with other systems: Thanks to its compatibility with other ALUPROF systems, use of common components is possible, which reduces production costs and facilitates technological processes.
3. Wide range of applications: MB-45 allows the installation of various types of hardware, locks and hinges in accordance with European standards, increasing the adaptability to specific requirements.
4. Easy to install and maintain: The system’s design allows the profiles to be easily joined, which ensures high rigidity and tightness of the joints, and allows the door thresholds to be removed without having to unscrew other components.
5. Variety of infill options: The system allows for infill thicknesses from 2 mm to 34 mm in window leaves and from 2 mm to 28 mm in fixed windows and door leaves, providing design versatility.
6. Water tightness and drainage: Special EPDM synthetic rubber seals and an efficient drainage and ventilation system provide reliable protection against the elements.
Additional info:
The MB-45 system also includes the templates and tools needed to carry out a variety of technological processes. Following the recommendations in the catalogue ensures that the manufactured product will meet users’ expectations for many years.
mb-45 office
The MB-45 OFFICE partition wall system allows the creation of internal partitions using toughened glass or aluminium sections, ideal for high spaces such as shopping centres and office buildings. The system offers modularity, allowing the space to be quickly rearranged, including the installation of all-glass swing and hinged doors and standard doors from the MB-45 system.
The MB-45 OFFICE system is an innovative and flexible solution for modern spaces, ensuring easy installation, rearrangement options and long-term durability. Aluprof S.A. specialists can be reached for technical support and advice.
Features of the MB-45 OFFICE System:
• Section depth: 45 mm, identical to the MB-45 system, ensuring full compatibility.
• Modularity: The base profiles can be used for a variety of functions (display frame, panel or profile doors, transoms, mullions) by adding the appropriate adaptation profiles.
• Compatibility: Can be combined with the MB-EXPO system.
• Flexible installation: A variety of infill options and glazing (single and double glazing) with thicknesses of 2–25 mm can be used, including large-sized toughened glass (8, 10, 12 mm).
• Straightforward installation: Reduced construction time due to prefabrication and assembly directly on site. Most profiles are cut at 90° without milling and the joints are made by studding or bolting.
• Easy processing: Can be processed with portable tools, including saws, drilling templates and presses.
• Changeable set-up: Can be dismantled and reassembled for interior redesign.
• Installation height: The maximum height is approx. 4 m. For large dimensions of toughened glass, the panes are bolted in the cross profiles of the MB-EXPO system.
• Hardware support: Hardware from Aluprof, GEZE, WSS and DORMA can be used.
• Sound insulation: Improved insulation thanks to clear strips filling the gaps between the panes.
• Seal installation: The glazing seals can be installed continuously and the swing seals of panel doors can be cut at 45° and glued at the corners.
mb-harmony office
The system of interior, non-load-bearing, frameless single-glazed (MB-HARMONY) and double-glazed (MB-HARMONY DUO) glass walls is used to build partitions with or without single and double-leaf doors. Installation pillars can be built into the walls. Due to its ability to accommodate high rooms, the system is primarily intended for offices and public areas with typical and increased sound performance. An important advantage of this system is its modularity, which allows the space to be quickly rearranged to give it new functions.
Features of the MB-HARMONY OFFICE system
- Section design depth:
45 mm for the MB-HARMONY, in line with the MB-45 and MB-45 OFFICE systems,
92 mm for the MB-HARMONY DUO, in line with the MB-80 OFFICE system.
• The system is founded on a small number of multifunctional base sections.
• Common and minimum number of joints and accessories.
• An installation pillar that allows for the routing of cables and the integration of the necessary room service equipment.
• Simplicity of prefabrication and assembly, allowing for reduced construction time and the majority of machining is to be carried out directly on site using portable tools.
• The base sections are cut at 90°, only the door profiles need to be cut at 45°. Other machining (drilling, milling) is limited to a few cases.
• Component connections made by bolting together using system joints.
• Concealed glazing seals, seated in the section recesses continuously before installation, without cutting at the corners. Selection of seals correlated with the thickness of the glazed infill (same sections).
• Full-glazed and profiled door leaves can be used, based on the same set of frame profiles and accessories.
• Infill:
Safety glass: thermally toughened (ESG) or laminated (VSG),
Thicknesses: 10 ÷ 10.8 mm and 12 ÷ 12.8 mm.
• Installation of glazing on dedicated glazing packers and fixing with pressure strips.
• Sound insulation: vertical joints between panes filled with self-adhesive acrylic seals or polycarbonate profiles.
• Maximum installation heights:
3,200 mm for panes 10 ÷ 10.8 mm thick,
3,600 mm for panes 12 ÷ 12.8 mm thick.
