mb-slide
The MB-Slide system is used to create thermally insulated sliding doors and windows that can be installed in masonry walls, aluminium facades, winter gardens and display windows. The large sliding door visually enlarges the space, connecting it to the terrace or garden.
The profile depth of the leaves is 37 mm and the frames are 50 mm (double track) and 97 mm (triple track). The MB-Slide system allows direct combination with MB-59S and MB-59S Casement systems due to the identical depth of the basic frames.
The leaf and frame sections have a three-chamber design with polyamide thermal breaks. The system uses hardware from Sobinco and Giesse, including single and multi-point locks and adjustable and fixed carriages. The system features straightforward prefabrication and minimal profile machining. ‘L’ corner and ‘T’ cross joints are made using CORALGLUE® adhesive and aluminium corners.
The system allows for 23–26 mm thick glazing sets, with EPDM and TPE seals. Structures must have an effective drainage and ventilation system. The MB-Slide system is compatible with other ALUPROF S.A. systems, making it possible to use common sections and accessories.
Maximum leaf dimensions are 2,600 mm high, 1,800 mm wide, with a maximum weight of 160 kg (sliding leaves) and 200 kg (fixed leaves). Following the recommendations ensures long-term user satisfaction. If you have any questions, the specialists at Aluprof S.A. will be happy to help.
