MB-78EI
MB-78EI Firewall System
The MB-78EI system is designed to create internal and external fire partitions, including single and double-leaf doors and service windows. Offering various fire resistance classes (EW15, EI15, EW30, EI30, EI45, EW60, EI60, EI90), it provides effective fire protection in accordance with EN 13501-2+A1. The system is flame retardant (FR) and also allows smoke-proof construction.
Benefits of the MB-78EI:
1. Fire Safety: Guaranteed fire resistance up to EI90, in accordance with European standards.
2. Compatibility: Can be integrated with other systems (MB-45, MB-59S, MB-60, MB-60E EI, MB-70, MB-78EI DPA, MB-118EI), allowing flexibility in design.
3. Thermal and Sound Insulation: Low heat transfer coefficient values, thanks to profiles with a thermal break and high sound insulation.
4. Easy Installation and Maintenance: Glazing is set in steel brackets with ceramic gaskets for easy replacement and to ensure good seal.
5. Versatile Use: Can be used in a variety of building structures, both indoor and outdoor, with glazed partitions with 8 to 49 mm thick infill panels.
6. Resistance to Outdoor Conditions: The system is equipped with an effective drainage and ventilation system to provide long-lasting protection against corrosion and weathering.
Technical properties:
• Aluminium profiles: Made of EN AW-6060 or EN AW-6063 alloy, with anodised or polyester powder coating for corrosion protection.
• Joints: Made with minimal machining using aluminium fasteners and CORALGLUE® two-component adhesive.
• Ventilation & Drainage System: A must in outdoor structures, it ensures proper water removal and ventilation.
